Day 2 Manila City Tour Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to a city tour of Manila. The interesting highlights
are Fort Santiago, built in 1663 inside the older Walled City of Intramuros
(1591-1593) and used by the Spanish as military headquarters. San Agustin
Church, the oldest stone church in the city which has a museum of religious and
secular art. The Rizal Park where the remains of the country’s national hero,
Dr. Jose Rizal, lie within the cornerstones of the monument. Proceed to a rolling
tour of scenic Roxas Boulevard fronting the Manila Bay. A visit to a curio of Filipino crafts is a must for a change in your shopping environment before driving back to
your hotel. (B)
Day 3 Villa Escudero Day Tour After breakfast, drive two-and-a-half hours south of Manila to the quaint and
historic Villa Escudero, amidst coconut palms, reminiscent of old plantation life. Highlight of the tour is a family museum of archaeological artifacts and private collections of antique relics from Pre-History, Spanish time and World War II.
Local folks will serenade you on board water buffalo-drawn carts that transport
you going to a man-made waterfalls that provides hydroelectric power to the
plantation. Lunch is served on tables set over a flowing stream. On weekends,
a cultural showis presented for the delight of plantation visitors. (B/L)
Day 4 Manila-Banaue Early morning departure from Manila to Banaue, home of the Banaue Rice
Terraces which is a UNESCO world heritage site created by the Ifugao using only
their bare hands and crude instruments. Check in at the hotel for dinner and
overnight. (B/D) Day 5 Bontoc and Sagada Tour Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to visit the picturesque town of Sagada (subject to weather condition). Stop and see their ancient burial caves with mummified coffins. Visit also the Bontoc Museum, founded by a Belgian Sister, which houses a varied collection of authentic artifacts and photos from the mountain tribes. Return to
Banaue for dinner and overnight. (B/D)
Day 6 Banaue-Manila After breakfast, check-out of the hotel for your return trip to Manila. (B) Day 7 Manila-Boracay Island Depart Manila for Boracay Island, a paradise for certified sun-worshippers hailed
as one of the best beaches in the world. Boracay boasts of all the elements of a
tropical haven - crystal blue waters, powder white sand, liberal doses of tropical
palms and flowering plants, and a healthy and diverse marine life. Upon arrival,
check in at the resort for dinner and overnight. (B/D)
Day 8 Boracay Island Hopping Breakfast at the resort. Set sail for an island hopping tour around Boracay.
Snorkel, explore caves and swim to your heart’s delight.
Return to the resort for overnight. (B/L) Day 9 Boracay Island Breakfast at the resort. Today is free to explore the island at your own leisure. (B) Day 10 Boracay Island-Manila Breakfast at the resort. Free time until your transfer to the airport for your flight
